The Trust strengthens the schools’ co-operative work, and encourages collaborative work with identified key partners to further improve standards and enhance opportunities for children, parents, staff and the wider community.
We encourage all members of the community to get involved and support us in our quest to build a strong learning community.
It is a big thumbs up for a fab yr 6 health & wellbeing week. Thanks to @CFTyneWearNland for funding this initiative. Thanks @NU_Foundation for planning with us & delivering a variety of sessions. Zone West link workers were fabulous & @HygieneBankNcl generous in their donation.
Thanks to the fantastic Zone West link works @WellbeingNorth for supporting our Health & Wellbeing week. 379 children had the opportunity to talk about their hopes & concerns as they transition to secondary school & learn strategies for keeping a calm state. #childrenscommunity

We cherish the relationships we have with our community. We see transformational change happening through partnership. Some of the work taking place in our community can be found documented in this chapter...
It has been a pleasure to work with @plizt @karenjclaing & @SamRobs32750806 to write about our partnership work around @WestEndSchools. We were proud to share our published work with others who are as passionate as we are about working together to bring transformational change.
We had a fab day hosting the UK Network meeting @TheTurfSJ We welcomed delegates from different children's communities around the country. Newcastle West End Children's Community shared their partnership working initiatives. Thanks to @WestEndSchools children for joining us. ❤️
Thank you @ChildrenNE for sharing the findings of the report with out children in this lovely way. It is great to hear the voice of our children and just as great to share it, celebrate it and report back to them. #childrenscommunity
Yesterday morning, 8 Y6 pupils met with Cathryn of @ChildrenNE to discuss the findings of the report they helped produce. Fruit juice, pastries and (decaf) coffee were provided to create that morning meeting feel.
Day 3 of our health and wellbeing week. We are thinking about screentime and sleep. How many hours a day are you looking at an electronic device? Do you have a break from screen time before bed? How can we have good sleep hygiene to prepare for the day ahead? #childrenscommunity
Day 2 of our health & wellbeing week with @NU_Foundation. We have been thinking about making new friends at secondary school and remaining in contact with some existing friends. We explored the qualities of a good friend. It is fab to be with children from across @WestEndSchools
